Holiness

Holiness is all about pleasing God. If it comes down to a choice of whether or not you're going to be pleased or God's going to be pleased, then you go ahead and choose God. That's what Holiness is. Holiness is choosing God on a day by day, moment by moment, sometimes incident by incident basis. Holiness is simply living your life everyday choosing GOD.

Now we've talked about the physical (literal) side of fornication and whether you know it or not, we've also been talking about the spiritual side of fornication. You see spiritual fornication is you having something in your heart that you love, like, want and desire more than God. Spiritual fornication is you on one hand trying to walk with God but on the other hand trying to live as close to the world as you can. Spiritual fornication is you looking for happiness, gratification and contentment outside of God.

In other words if Jesus is your husband, that's where you ought to look for your satisfaction, happiness and contentment. But if you're pursuing happiness, gratification and contentment like the world than you may be after the money, success, and notoriety. If you are pursuing it like the world, you will backbite, back-stab, dog eat dog, and do what you have to do. But, if you're doing it God's way, you will depend on God for your happiness, your satisfaction, your comfort, your contentment and most of all, you will look to Him to make your life significant.
