Changing Your Financial Focus

When you get wisdom, you get treasure. You have to make wisdom the primary quest of your life. You have to understand that there is a difference between having money and having treasures. As believers get the revelation that there is a difference between money and treasure, they will not have a problem exchanging their money for treasure. Money is good but treasure is better. Money is good but it can't heal your body. Money is good but it can't make you happy. Money is good but it can't always get you out of trouble. So what God wants us to do is to go after things above with the understanding that the principle thing above is wisdom. When you began to seek God with all of your heart, you will have wisdom. The Lord wants His people to come out of giving with a sense of "have to" and start giving out of a sense of "want to." The Body of Christ must get the revelation knowledge that there is a difference between having money and having treasure. We must want to develop a lifestyle where constantly we are making an exchange. We need to get to the place where money is not our treasure then we will submit our money to the laws of the kingdom of God thereby trading in our money for God's treasure.
